SIX KILOMETERS OF COUNTRY ROADS IN MUNICIPALITY OF PALILULA

In the village of Krušce, Municipality of Palilula is ending construction works of country roads, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the City Administration for agriculture and rural development. This year, it will be arranged over 6 km of roads in the municipality, with value of 4.5 million, which will provide farmers easier coming to the infield.

Palilula has over 7 acres of agricultural land, of which about six and a half acres are arable and the rest is pasture. Last year in the territory governed by municipality the nearly 13 km of country roads were finished, and this year will be a gravel strewn over 6 km of rural roads-says president of municipality of Palilula Boban Džunić.

Department of Agriculture, in this case, was at service to the citizens, and plan of priorities of building roads was forwarded to the Ministry of Agriculture.

"This is very important for our village because we know in what conditions agricultural production takes place. Due to bad roads everybody loses, producers and consumers. You've heard of our farmers, and how the unedited road are affecting the quality of the work, the big distribution yields were increased and fuel costs. Krušce village is producing vegetables and its products are supplying the region and the city of Niš. The territory of Palilula consists also of 15 villages that rely on narrow city area.
